I know most of these soldiers are from other places, however there is enough here now that could get a few moons worth of the quartz and buy some time to come up with a more honorable plan.
All while Ruffy spoke the King walked slower and slower until he was at a dead stop by the time he had finished his idea. The king bowed his head, and when he looked up at Ruffy he had such a look of shame on his face, it could not have been mistaken for anything else.
